A Name for Your Trades
Wallet addresses look like this: `7xKZ...4qP9`. Try sharing that with a friend.
We just shipped nametags — a clean, claimable identity that replaces your wallet on every Siren surface. Pick @yourname, and that's who you are. On the leaderboard. On your shared PnL cards. On every trade you make a noise about.
How It Works
Head to Settings → Profile and tap Claim nametag. Pick something between 3 and 20 characters — letters, numbers, underscores, dots, and hyphens.
Once claimed:
- Your nametag shows wherever your wallet used to
- Friends can find your profile at onsiren.xyz/u/yourname
- Your contest leaderboard entry uses your nametag instead of `7xKZ...4qP9`
- Your referral link becomes onsiren.xyz/ref/yourname — much easier to share than a long code
Why Nametags Matter
Reputation compounds. The trader who calls election outcomes correctly three months in a row should be findable, followable, and credible — not a string of base58 characters that nobody remembers.
Most prediction market apps treat your wallet as your identity. We don't. Your wallet holds your money. Your nametag holds your reputation.
Built On Open Identity
Nametags on Siren are stored against your wallet — meaning you own them. We don't rent them to you, we don't take them away, and you can use the same nametag pattern across any app that integrates Siren's identity layer down the line.
For now, claim early. Nametags are unique — once @duke is taken, it's taken. The earlier you claim, the better the names you get.
What's Next
Profile pages, social receipts, follow lists, and trader spotlights all build on top of the nametag layer. The contest leaderboard is the first place you'll see them in the wild — top 5 traders on the May 18 → June 1 contest will be remembered by name.
Pick yours: Claim your nametag.
